What is a fragrance decant?
A fragrance decant is a smaller amount of perfume transferred from an original full-size bottle into a separate atomizer. It gives you a way to wear and experience a fragrance before committing to a full bottle.
Are your fragrances authentic?
Yes. Every decant is taken from an authentic fragrance bottle that was independently purchased by Mika’s Scent Library.
What size are the decants?
Our individual fragrance decants are currently offered in 5 mL atomizers.
Will my decant come in the original brand bottle or packaging?
No. The bottle images on the website show the original fragrance for reference. Your fragrance is hand-decanted into a separate Mika’s Scent Library atomizer and does not include the original manufacturer bottle or packaging.
How are the decants prepared?
Each decant is hand-poured for your order from the original fragrance bottle and carefully packaged for shipment.
How long does order processing take?
Orders are processed within up to 7 business days before shipping because each decant is prepared specifically for your order.
How much is shipping?
Standard USPS shipping is $7.99 and shipping is free on orders over $75. We currently ship within the United States only.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of fragrance decants, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges because of personal scent preference, change of mind or not liking the fragrance.
What if my order arrives damaged, leaking or incorrect?
Contact us at contactus@mikasscentlibrary.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue and your order number so we can make it right.
What are Discovery Sets?
Discovery Sets let you choose the fragrances you want to try and build your own set. You can mix designer, niche, Middle Eastern and indie fragrances in one discovery experience.
Why should I buy a decant instead of a full bottle?
A decant lets you spend time with a fragrance before making a larger purchase. It can help you avoid a blind buy that may not work for you and gives you an affordable way to explore more fragrances.
Is Mika’s Scent Library affiliated with the fragrance brands listed on the site?
No. Mika’s Scent Library is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the brands or fragrance houses named on this site. Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
